To mark its 50th anniversary, the National Consumer Law Center recently published a list highlighting folks in its network of “Consumer Champions.” I was surprised and honored to be included in that list. Being identified with such legal luminaries as Rich Cordray and Tom Cox was a thrill. Best of all, though, when someone from NCLC interviewed me for the publication it forced me examine the arc of my nearly 30-year career. It reminded me why my work is personally meaningful. And, it inspired me to continue to fight for economic justice for (what I hope will be) another 30 years.
